SNY DEBUTS “PIAZZA’S ROAD TO THE HALL OF FAME”
Piazza Themed Marathon Premieres Tonight at 8 p.m.
[New York, July 21, 2016] – SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, will celebrate Mike Piazza’s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend with a special block of programming featuring the 12-time All-Star. Debuting tonight from 8:00 – 10:30 p.m., Piazza’s Road to the Hall of Fame presented by Tri-State Ford, will take a look back at Piazza’s most memorable moments in the blue and orange.
The schedule is as follows for Piazza’s Road to the Hall of Fame:

Mike Piazza, Bobby Valentine, Al Leiter and former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani reminiscence about the team’s reaction to September 11, 2001, and the decision to resume playing baseball in the wake of the attacks.

Hosted by Gary Apple, the show takes a look back at Mike’s life, his career in the major leagues and his induction into the Mets Hall of Fame.
The programming block will re-air on Friday, July 22 (2:30 – 5:00 p.m.) and Saturday, July 23 (1:00 – 3:30 p.m.). SNY will also be on the ground at Cooperstown all weekend long providing coverage on GEICO SportsNite.
