Mets acquire magic technology to send you 1s and 0s without fees!

Check out this cool tech the Mets have developed.

mets technology
Using your own devices you will magically connect with the Mets box office. From there you can purchase admission rights, the digital equivalent of tickets, which will be magically transmitted to your own device.

That’s right! The Mets have figured out how to send you data without a fee. Amazin’

Less sarcastically, I wonder what the motivation for this is. Are the Mets anticipating lighter crowds down the stretch? Are they just being kind?

They are in a playoff race which would suggest good crowds, but maybe they are seeing what I see, which is this is a boring team that looks like it will fall out of the race.

I have no idea, but it’s nice to see the Mets have figured out how to do this without those pesky fees.

I’m also glad to talk about anything but Mike Piazza. I am Piazza’d out.

  1. Update needed on third sentence. Hilarious headline. They have garnered so much negative vibes over the years for doing that BS, and they still did it.
