As for Bruce, no harm ever in getting a Bonafide Major League Hitter. So hooray there.
Defensively, I have no idea how this will work, although it is 5:25 and there is no lineup yet and there was a story that Terry was with the trainer and then was seen cursing, so I’m just assuming that it’s Cespedes is hurt so basically that solves the OF problem.
Dilson Herrera goes to Cincy. The future that never arrived. I could go on and on about Murph, Dilson, Sandy….but that’s been well discusses around here and again on twitter (@metspolice) today, so even I don’t feel like beating that dead horse.
Some pitching prospect that you and I had never heard of goes. Maybe he makes the Hall of Fame. I can’t worry about that.
The team is better than it was yesterday. That’s good. I still would have sold.
