Good news everyone!
Mets Police has learned that Gary Cohen has signed a multi-year deal to continue broadcasting Mets games on SNY. Hooray for all.
Do not underestimate how important this is. Watch another team’s broadcast and you’ll cringe at what comes out of the speakers. We Mets fans continue to be blessed with our tradition of top notch broadcasters (with a few gaps circa 1980 and during the late days of Sportschannel turned Fox Sports New York, and a radio second-chair or two.)
Good job all. Now for Gary it’s onto the Hall of Fame. Frick Award anyone?
