Oh Mets.
The Mets worked out their every day third baseman Jose Reyes in center field. As you may have heard, the Mets have too many outfielders which is why there is talk of playing Jay Bruce at first. So what do the Mets do? They work Reyes out in the OF and don’t work Bruce out at first. Bruce should be playing every single day at first.
Oh, and it’s not like Jose was all that good at third base last year. Maybe get him some reps. And you guys in management should google things like Howard Johnson and Keith Miller. Stop with the Reyes nonsense.
Speaking of the outfield, Conforto got more hits, which means people will complain about Conforto not playing even though he keeps getting hits because he is playing.
David Wright is seeking a second opinion. I am no doctor, but I would imagine if the first opinion had been “you will be totally able to throw in two weeks” he wouldn’t seek the second. You usually seek second opinions when you don’t like the first, no? Anyway we all know in our hearts the deal.
