A question for veterans, active military and those who served.. How do you feel about this?
I know how I react, but maybe I don’t know what I am talking about.
Are you guys like “cool, that dude supports us” when you see someone wearing a Noah Syndergaard jersey? Would you feel more supported if I gave my $230 to some sort of fund or charity. Should I visit a VA hospital instead of spending three hours on the Mets? Or do I just wear my cool green cap and know I did my part Saluting Those Who Served?
We’ve also conflated Memorial Day with some sort of General Vaguely Supporting America Patriotism Veterans celebration.
Part of my confusion is that I don’t know where this money goes. I have tried to understand it, but I haven’t been able to get my small brain to figure it out.
