SLACKISH REACTION:  What a nice improvement in the MLB product.  I am writing this at exactly 9pm last night and 7 innings are over and Terry hasn’t used any relief pitchers.   Baseball COULD be nice if it could be like this every night.

Anyway Yo left the game with a sore left heel.  Great.

The Mets drafted someone named David Peterson, a LHP.  Whatever.

The Mets are “only” 8.5 games out and approaching .500!

But most importantly

THE GAME WAS PLAYED IN UNDER 2.5 HOURS!!!!

 

Wow, everything I have been writing about – THAT GAME LAST NIGHT WAS WHAT I WANTED.  No crazy bullpening.  That’s the baseball of my youth.  So much better.
