Texas Rangers: Joe Klein,  former Texas Rangers GM, passes away | SportsDay

The Rangers traded Darling and pitcher Walt Terrell  to the New York Mets in 1982 for outfielder Lee Mazzilli, a deal that infuriated Klein. Darling and Terrell  combined to win 237 major league games.
