Holy shit. I just came out of a thirty year coma and woke up in the year 2017. I cannot believe that the Mets have yet to win the World Series again – and what the hell happened with Gooden? Why isn’t he in the Hall of Fame.
Anyway, I am sad to hear Nelson Doubleday passed away but it’s great to see that Fred Wilpon is still around and running things the right way unlike the previous owners.
So, this future confuses me. It seems we have some sort of Atari Sports Leagues now? I feel like I woke up in Blade Runner. I do not understand this at all, can someone explain to me what we do? Do we all go out to Shea Stadium and watch kids play video games on the DiamondVision? I really have no idea what’s going on here, but I gotta assume if Fred is involved it’s a good thing.

I looked up this Seth Lugo. Seems like a great pitcher that plays in some sort of Baseball World Cup! Wow the sport has gotten so much better while I was in my coma. How exciting to see the nations of the world come together to play the greatest sport of them all, baseball!
Also how are the Astros and Dodgers playing in the World Series? What happened to the American League? I am so confused.
