I was watching CNN/MSNBC at 10 last night to catch up on the day’s event. At 10:21 I decided to go to sleep but before I did to do one quick peek at the baseball score. I saw it was the 6th inning of a 1-0 game. And still 10:21pm. I didn’t even stay for one pitch. A 3:22 game – so a 3-1 baseball game ended at 11:42. Go hose yourself.
Tonight, the Baseball Championship Series Round finishes with a Game 7 which I am sure many will enjoy, but for me this has really been a season about baseball making me realize how broken it is and how I no longer love it.
I am ten tweets down my morning search and I already see Baron and Jeff Passan easing poetic about a sport they still love, but I am eyeballing their love as if they are telling me the future of the Republican party is strong (and I am an absolutely disgusted Republican.)
Anyway, no Mets news at all. Generic bulshit about Kevin Long might not seat – guys how many times are you gonna write that one. We need outfielderzzzzzzz. And the Mets twitter search is gummed up by people using the word Mets in french so that’s no help.
