Today, the case for Jerry Koosman.
Koosman is not mentioned much these days, unless I’m using him to explain Ron Darling (which I guess doesn’t make any sense since you millennials have no idea who Koosman is.)
Anyway let’s look at the stats…
Most GP (300), most innings (although Tom is quite close), 2nd in wins with 104 to Tom (and not many Mets have won more than 100 games), most in losses (you have to be good to do that or they get rid of you).
Most starts, 2nd most strikeouts, 2nd most CG, 3rd in shutouts.
