So before I go all snark – I do really like that Sandy mentions the entertainment aspects of the game. I hope he listens to himself and understands that fans want to see stars not the 5th Inning Reliever and walks away from this 4 inning start nonsense.
Switching to snark – this is Sandy at his best. He won’t admit that the there is no fucking way the Mets are getting Otani, after all that would be foolish to declare at this time, but he lays enough groundwork here to let you know that there’s no fucking way the Mets are getting Otani.
