Mets Police Morning Laziness: Everyone Act like they care about the 40 man roster Day

SLACKISH REACTION: There is extra nothing today. People are filling column space wondering who the Mets will add to the 40 man roster.

I don’t know how it works contract wise and someone on twitter mentioned something about Rule 5 draft picks something something but here’s a question – should the Mets even put David Wright on it? It’s not like some other team is going to grab that salary. That would sure make news.   Anyway I concede I have no idea what I’m talking about and this might be a complete non-starter and utter nonsense and clueless.  But there is no news at all
