DID THE METS GET ANY NEW PLAYERS: Yes! I know, right? The Mets are getting Adrian Gonzalez and only have to pay him $545,000. He’s an actual major leaguer veteran and I like those, but I hope they let Dom pay 145 games.
SLACKISH REACTION: I dreamt it was a nice day out and that it was Opening Day so I bought tickets on stub hub and headed out there. What’s interesting is that in Dreamland the Mets play at Shea. My seats were in the loge. Good times.
BAGELS: no bagel amateurs this morning but the bagel store is taking pre-orders on Red Bagels for valentine’s Day. That’s a bad idea all around. They will look terrible as food dye bagels always do. Whatever event you are having with red bagels sounds lame and sounds like it’s in the grammar school gym. AND if you do want to go with colorful Valentine’s breakfast food obviously the move is Donuts Chain donuts.
