What is this nonsense? Sandy Alderson, for those of you not in the know, is the Mets General Manager which means he is in charge of putting together the roster. Sandy tells the newspaper….
“I like our roster,”
Yeah?
Sandy went on the record and said he likes the Mets roster. Well thank God HE does because he’s the one who put it together.
Can you imagine….
“Matt, to be honest, I don’t like our roster. It’s just not that good.”
So I’m not here to kill Matt for writing this, but to point out the silliness of Content Filling.
The headline also tells us that the Mets fell 100% better about the starters. You may recall last year that we were promoting THE GREATEST ROTATION OF ALL TIME around here….
…so I guess they are now THE MULTIVERSE’S ULTIMATE ROTATION.
I mean bro Sandy, did you think that you were gonna get 4 innings out of Thor and a 17 ERA out of The Socked Knight when you were building 2017 around pitching but now its somehow 100% better because two guys are coming off injuries and one has monogrammed socks to go with his ERA?
