Anyone have any new information about #MetsFansUnited?
You may recall during the off-season they were very upset with the Wilpon’s cheapness and the Mets not signing any players the way the Mets treat their Alumni such as Howard Johnson.
I did a twitter search and the only thing I see is me asking about them?
Have they stuck to their guns and stopped being Mets fans and are off watching Major League Soccer? Maybe they are building homes for the poor in the Appalachians? Maybe they all got jobs at The Athletic (hmm that would explain a lot of things Scully).
Maybe they are deep underground planning some sort of Opening Day demonstration. My theory on the latter is that they plan to have 47,000 people dressed in Mets attire boo the Mets trainers on Opening Day, a very impressive show of unity and the frustration that MFU captures in their efforts to get the Mets to treat Howard Johnson better.
