As most of the solid free agents find landing spots, it’s incredible to look back and see some of the deals that were made. The Mets guaranteed Jay Bruce $39 million. Carlos Gonzalez, Jonathan Lucroy, Lance Lynn, Logan Morrison and Mike Moustakas combined were guaranteed $39.5M.

Jesus guys. One minute we’re boycotting and taking the team away from the owners. Now they are stupid because they spent money on one of the 7 people we know can actually hit at Citi Field. Oh and I believe they signed Adrian Gonzales not Carlos and come on bro you know that’s just a throw-deep cheap option. Come on son.
Anyway, that’s my Mets – overpaying for free agents and signing players left and right like it’s going out of style. Give me a fracking break.
