Hello Mets Fans! I’m back from the soccer tournament (we won) so I didn’t catch any of the Mets game, but the A-Team is working Citi Field this week so I’m getting press releases again! (Also thanks to Media Goon for texting me scores.)
As you know, the Mets have said their surveys show Mets fans prefer Saturday night games, so you have to feel really bad for the 36,098 who must have had a lousy Guest Experience sitting out in the sunshine all day. Anyway, the game clearly said 1:10pm so it’s your fault if you didn’t enjoy the day game.
The game was played in a tidy 3:22!
The Mets have begun the season 2-0 for the first time since 2013.
The Mets went UNDEFEATED in March!
Mickey Callaway has won each of his first two games at the helm of the Mets…The last Mets manager to win his first two contests was Joe Torre, who won his first three games when he took over as manager in 1977.
