SLACKISH REACTON: The Mets are 11-1. That’s .917 all (unlikely to continue). They have a 3.5 game lead over Atlanta, and the 4th place Nationals are 6 back. It is April 14th. Wow. There’s even a Panic article in the Washington Post – when I saw the headline I thought it was the AAIMBR+ being stupid but it’s the Washington Post panicking!
Today is an absolutely gorgeous day for a night game. Doh.
I now have to unfollow @mets during games because they insist on spoiling things. Very annoyed with them, and I has have written before I don’t get it that they don’t get it.
