I’m still surprised that the media isn’t looking in Mickey’s direction yet. Maybe they realize that even for them it would look ridiculous as hey spent the Spring and half of April spreading The Gospel of the New Culture.
So far, it looks like Same Old Mets. You may recall that the 2015 Mets had a great April before a miserable summer that was saved by Cespedes coming to town (and Murphtober). I have yet to see one thing that Terry Collins could not be doing with this team.
As I tweeted yesterday, Mick is lucky George Steinbrenner doesn’t own this team or I think we’d be looking at Terry II already.
I cannot believe the Keith Hernandez store is selling “Coke Canes” tees. Here look.
I know Keith has a book to push and somebody has their hooks into him for a t-shirt business (and no it’s not TTSG), but he can’t really be that hungry for money that he approved Coke Canes. I have to believe did not sign off on that and someone ran a little wild.
