Image of a coach on the field clearly not in uniform.

LOL.  Wait until someone at MLB pays attention to what is going on in the Mets’ dugout.

As I read the MLB rules and CBA there really don’t seem to be compression sleeve rules, although there are rules about logos, and I guess here the issue is the Hawaiian “emblem” (eye roll from me).

The article also says “MLB has no problem whatsoever with players wearing a non-uniform article of underclothing as long as it’s from an MLB corporate sponsor” which is news to me, but I am not a CBA lawyer nor MLB employee, I am just a guy on his deck – but this is news to me.  It would explain how guys have been wearing MH33 shirts and the like.

I still maintain that the rules clearly say it is for players and coaches IN UNIFORM which often Todd Frazier, Mickey Callaway and Dave Eiland are not.  Take a look Mr. Torre.

Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Major League Baseball has told Cardinals infielder Kolten Wong that he has to get rid of the colorful arm sleeve he’s been wearing,

Now, let’s take the other side.  I get that MLB has to protect its rights holders….but is a guy wearing a Hawaiian “emblem” really destroying Nike’s future ability to make money?  Baseball is so boring as it is, why not let the players inject a little pizzazz.

BTW….
