I have to write this post because I keep seeing people mad that Nimmo isn’t on the ballot.
Let me walk you through this.
You get three outfielders.
CESPEDES. He’s ostensibly your most important player. You can’t leave him off, and he has two more years on the contract. Why would you pick that fight?
BRUCE. He also is a veteran with two years left after this one. I know #TheNarrative became this week that everyone hates him but you have to include him.
You get one more.
CONFORTO. You know, the guy who actually was an All Star in 2017? The guy you hope to build around? Yeah he’s on the ballot.
That’s it. You get three. Please stop being stupid about this. You can’t include a guy Mickey wasn’t even starting and that you didn’t give a hoot about until about a week ago.
