Yep I gave it away in the headline but the Sterlingitis was out on Thursday. Gare was all about the “Signature call.”
We got off to a bad start with Nimmo. This has all the classic Sterlingitis and the big tell is the AAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDD. This is a guy clearly heading for the phrase rather than going an honest call. You couldn’t work in an “it might go” or something? Bad call on autopilot Gare.

I thought how I would see how Diamondbacks Guy does things. He seems to crutch on Deep to Left (Right) Field but then does a fresh tag.

But this next one starts off poorly on Diamondbacks Guy Autopilot but then he saves it with a good honest call.. MLB has not provided neither embed technology nor captions for that one for some reason.
