Every year since 2012, W.B. Mason sponsors a Toy Truck giveaway, mainly targeted at little kids.
This year, however, it looks like they’ve turned up the stakes.
After not having the fireworks in April, and a production error delaying the Todd Frazier pullovers, the Mets have decided to only give you the box of the toy truck.
I’m (partially) serious, though, take a close look at the product shot on the website, there is nothing but the box, the truck is nowhere to be seen:
Now, this is definitely an oversight, but imagine if they actually handed out empty boxes to fans as they entered the ballpark? That would be something….
