Amidst all the craziness yesterday, there was a homerun, and a fairly important one at that. In the bottom of the seventh, with the Mets down a run, Michael Conforto hit one into the bullpen in right field.

From my seats it looked like the ball might have hit the jackpot sign over the visitors bullpen hut, the sign even turned purple for half an inning afterwords, but when watching it on replay, it’s clear that it missed by at least ten feet.
Did it hit the sign? It just turned purple. #Mets pic.twitter.com/l6EFwGbFqf

Anyway, back to Gary’s call.
Yes, there is a “back goes Polanco”, “at the walllllll” and of course the signature “it’s outta here”.
With that being said, it’s not an automatic “back at the track, back at the wall” so I can’t give this a full-on Sterling rating, but it’s obviously not a Scully.
So, for the second time this week, I’m going to dedicate the call to the middle man, Joe Davis, who does the same “back goes (outfielder)” before saying his signature phrase.
VERDICT: Joe Davis (but awfully close to a Sterling)
