Well, it’s time to chew my words from last night, when I was thanking all of you, saying I was going to get out your face tonight once Shannon returns.
Unfortunately, travel plans change, and Shannon will be away at least through Sunday, so I’ll be sticking around until then!
Oh, right, Mets news.
Jacob deGrom was pushed back to tomorrow due to some personal priorities, which lead to some people moaning and groaning on Twitter.
deGrom start has been pushed to tomorrow. Family matter he needs to attend to. Oswalt will start tonight.

I think it should be common sense that family comes first, and one’s occupation comes second.
In other news, Brian Cashman (Yankees GM) shared his thoughts on Alderson (all words of encouragement of course), which lead to some people wondering if this means the Mets will be open to a trade.
Lastly, Tim Tebow was named to the Eastern League All-Star Game, after an impressive first half of 2018.
Tim Tebow is among five Mets prospects who made the Double-A Eastern League All-Star team. Tebow is batting .261/.335/.398 with five home runs at Binghamton.

With that being said, it should be interesting to see how the new GM’s go forward with the Tebow experiment, they might not be as intrigued by it as Alderson was.
Well, time to settle in and “enjoy” Mets versus Marlins. Hope you’ll all do the same.
