A lot was said about newspapers yesterday. I don’t want anyone to be out of work. That aside, one of the reasons the newspaper died was stupid content. Newspapers chose to devolve into Kardashian nonsense, and the sports page followed. You post articles about how the Mets are going to trade JDG and Thor to the Yankees so you can have a snazzy back cover…well your content is stupid and not worth the money.
In today’s NOT LINKING, the other newspaper is acting like everyone didn’t want the Mets to re-sign Cespedes, and using loaded language like JDG’s Potential Farewell.
So, I will continue to not read newspapers and you guys can continue to reap what you sow.
SLACKISH REACTION: Always fun to watch the One True Ace. I thought it was interesting that Mickey used his closer, Gsellman, in the 9th – but I bet Mickey didn’t even realize that’s what he was doing as he probably hasn’t thought through who his closer is yet. Anyway, they got it done I under 3 hours.
Today is July 24th. The Mets are in last place, Dom Smith has one RBI and Todd Block Frazier has a .685 OPS. Did you know he is from New Jersey?
