Hey maybe Gare is paying attention to what I am saying!
Here are two calls. The first is legit solid as he isn’t sure if the ball is fair and I love the way he lets us know he isn’t sure with his intonation. Howie does that a lot and it’s a great move.
Now the second one is VERY VERY interesting. Listen carefully. It’s as if Gare realizes he’s about to the call by rote and changes it up on the fly.
Listen he says “back t…..for a look and it’s Outta Here.”
Pay attention between “back” and “for a look…”
Gare started to say something else (perhaps to the track) and stopped and thus it’s a much much better call than To The Track To The Wall would have been.
