I’m not THAT lazy…I started working on this post at 8:30 this morning, but the site had some issues that took me….checks watch…4.5 hours to fix. Sheesh.
Anyway, it is Todd Frazier coronation day!
You may not know this, but Todd Frazier (who is from New Jersey) once played in the LLWS! I know, right? This never comes up. I hope ESPN mentions it. Anyway
At 1:50 today Little League International will make special presentation to Todd Frazier and Michael Conforto, both of whom are alumni of the Little League Baseball World Series, at Lamade Stadium.
Then at 2, Little League International will hold a special press conference with all three LLBWS Alumni –Frazier, Conforto and Kingery – at the Media Interview Room inside Lamade Stadium.
Tonight’s game is at SEVEN not 8. Now isn’t that interesting? Somehow MLB has the ability to play SNB at 7pm. More on this later, I am running 5 hours behind on posts.
The Mets will wear this

SLACKISH REACTION: Jacob deGrom threw the first No Reliever of the 21st Century. This is when the manager doesn’t make four pitching changes, and is more rare than an unassisted quadruple play (that’s where a fielder makes an unassisted triple play but then goes for the 4th out in case someone challenges the play.) JDG is now second on the All Time Mets Franchise List of No Relievers with one, trailing of course only Tom Seaver who did it twice a week for ten years but really baseball doesn’t suck now. Congrats to JDG!
Speaking of stud pitchers…
Hey that’s Matt Harvey…is he throwing a no-hitter (last night)???? You should read the recap! TDK is now 6-7 with an ERA under 5 and would be the Mets #2 starter.
Happy Birthday to….
Happy Birthday Ron Darling (@RonDarlingJr). DYK you were 1st #AllStar pitcher who was born in #Hawaii? That, and more, are on #BaseballAlmanac (https://t.co/upsQ1oIu11). #Mets #Expos #Athletics #Yale #GoldGlove #Game7Stud #AuthorGreatBook pic.twitter.com/JZzR0lBi4X

And that’s a wrap. Sucks this went out 4 hours late as it was a good one. Sigh.
