SLACKISH REACTION: I enjoyed the LLWS game which provided all sorts of interesting things.
First of all – fun uniforms! I really dig these. Lots of screenshots here.
Pretty interesting – the teams played with a 26th man “because of the travel” – which is really stupid, what does that have to do with anything? But A-Rod said that the 26th man had to be a position player!!!! That’s a potentially huge development. There are people like me who want to limit teams to 10 pitchers.
Either MLB waived some rules (I hope so) or we had a major violation. MAJOR.
MAJOR. And its not my rule so don’t get mad at me.
Nick hooked me up with a bunch of things like usual….my favorite was when The Commish was on TV talking about how kids love the game and the camera cut to this…
Tremendous. Can’t even be bothered to stay off his phone at the game.
Now….how the hell did this game start at 7? I thought SNB could only be played at 8 or the West Coast would get sad. Full rant here.
I find it interesting they announced next year is Pirates vs Cubs – since the Pirates played last year and the Phillies this year. Will there be a Pennsylvania team every year? Does Little League hate the American League? I get travel blah blah but I bet the Cleveland Baseball Team could make it to Williamsport as could the Orioles. And do the Padres and Mariners NEVER get a shot at this?

Frazierpalooza was not as nauseating as I thought it would be. ESPN actually seemed more interested in Conforto.
