Mets Police Morning Laziness: at my party, less Mets, more Police!

SLACKISH REACTION:  Yikes, is it morning already?  I had a party last night and it was a good one.  We even had a visit from the local constables to encourage us to celebrate in a less raucous fashion.   (They were quite nice about things.)   So there was no Mets for me (and I have to bang out a Harvey Day recap and hit some soccer games now) – seems they won 8-0 and my #1 follower Thor had a good night.

I have also learned that today’s game is at 4 not a night game which is great because now I don’t have to watch it and I can play Spiderman tonight.   The t-shirt enthusiasts will be there because they are #WickedLoyal.  The legal team wants me to clarify being #WickedLoyal does not include home games when the team is 15 games out, for those games we’re only #2/3WickedLoyal apparently from all the empty seats out in t-shirt land.

Did you see the umpire is being investigated for whatever happened with Lyin’ Todd Frazier the other night?  Good recap here.   I also found out the umpires have a twitter account.  Said umpires tweeted about Mr. Umpire Hallion enforcing the rules and my oh my did I love that, especially because in the picture there is someone on the field not in uniform.  So now I have an outlet for all my rules obsessions!

STFU Todd.

I have some other stuff on my mind but they warrant full posts.  Busy morning. Got coffee?
