9:30? You’re probably like whoa Mets Police, where’s my Morning Laziness? Where else am I going to get almost no new information and maybe some stuff that you don’t link to? I know, right? Look man, I slept in (no soccer) and then went to Donuts Chain and saw my pal Leo and we talked (about soccer) for a while and now it’s 9:30.
SLACKISH REACTION: I didn’t care about the game at all and as I type this sentence I still don’t know what happened. I watched Avengers Infinity War which was fun but I think movies need to dial it back. This was the logical extension of TOO MUCH – too many characters, too much plot, too much CGI (yo guys your Wakanda Set Piece reminded me of the Gungans War – that is never a good thing on so many levels). I also played some more Spider-Man and “discovered” Central Park. I still haven’t tried to make the outer boroughs yet, I don’t know if it’s like GTA and the bridge will be closed or if I can make it out to Queens. Maybe that’s today’s mission although it’s nicer out than I thought so I will likely go outside. OK let me Google “Mets” now….
Oh hey the Mets won! And it was JDG night! Who knew? I’m totally checked out. Mets Blog doesn’t realize it but they killed the season when they linked and basically rewrote the MLB.com article about the writers poll in which the writers said they would all vote for JDG The One True Ace. So there’s nothing to follow other than Tuesday we’ll get a flurry of DAVID WRIGHT IS ACTIVE and then the big day Saturday.
Today is Oswalt Day! I don’t want you guys starting to go to the Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report (aka the AAIMBR) for these things. I will try to get up earlier tomorrow – but yeah I’m checked out. Enjoy the 4pm game (the worst start time of all, even worse than 10pm) and the T-Shirt people and their outing thing that’s getting tired. I’m admittedly checked out. Spider-Man, Spider-Man, friendly neigh…..
