One of the many reasons to not be lazy and say To The Track To The Wall on 90% of your calls is because sometimes the ball actually is to the wall..
Two hits ➡ Two RBIs.

So the issue here is – let’s say Joe Buck said these exact words “back near the wall” it would be a fine call. But because Gare has put himself in Trackwallling mode, you listen to the call and you assume it’s gone because Gare has trained us with his It Is High It Is Far To The Track to the Wall.
So Gare, for anyone else this is a Scully call but for you because you’ve done it to yourself and you made me think it was gone…that’s on you Gare….
Verdict: Sterling
I imagine after a summer of these posts Gare won’t be accepting my invitation to come over to watch some Cubs playoff games. Hey Gare, you control your own fate here. I also post the good ones.
Next next talk about Khrush, who I think once tried to take over the Enterpr…..hold on, no, I am being told he is someone who plays baseball on the West Coast which means he has zero national profile….
As we head into October I want to broaden this a little…let’s see how this next guy did with whoever Khrush is (baseball thinks it has stars, it does not. Baseball, do you really think anyone knows who Khrush is?)
Khrush strikes again. Wow.#SeptemberBaseball pic.twitter.com/I09T5AyoKH

Now that’s a fine call. No schtick (well I don’t watch may A’s games, but it does not seem like schtick) and it’s not too many words. Nice job Mr. A’s Guy.
