SLACKISH REACTION: Once again the Mets have my calendar bugged, and they knew I worked late last night and early this morning so I could neither do the Laziness early or pre-write it Rubin style last night. So, as they always do, they took the opportunity to shuffle the coaches….
Seems like the Mets fired the hitting coach and shuffled the base coaches. Now, the Mets Police site is for real fans. By that I don’t mean super-duper-better-than-you fans, I mean real people who are Mets fans. Now, I’m gonna be honest – if you came to me yesterday and said to me, “Name the Mets hitting coach and the base coaches” I might have gone 0 for 3. I just read the article and already forgot who is doing what, I just know that No Shit Sherlock is at 1B because it’s easy for me to remember No Shit Sherlock. As for the rest of it, I will let the “experts” (cough) at the Amazing Apple Insiderized Mets Blog Report let you know if this is good/bad and I’ll just remind you none of this matters if JDG and Thor don’t make a combined 68 starts.
But hey, at least there was Mets news!
