SLACKISH REACTION: was listening to Bill Simmons who mentioned that since the NFL and Fox decided to make the Thursday Night Football slate stronger that it has had the net effect of making the Sunday slate weaker. I do think the Sunday window has been quite boring this year, even with the ADD that’s Red Zone. The 4pm window in particular, with fewer games (although this week it’s full) has been troublesome.
Where I will disagree with Bill is his take on why NBA ratings are down. He dismisses the notion that it’s because LeBron now plays games late night East Coast Time. Bill lives in Los Angeles and does not believe this to be true. I will respectfully disagree and head to be at 10pm east.
Played some more Fifa and Red Dead Redemption II. I need to deep dive this morning and find some things to keep the blog hot. Normally I have a laptop out 16 hours a day, but this week have not been doing that thus the net result has been fewer posts.
NOT LINKING: one of the AAIMBR’s is so bad that they didn’t even bother to think up alternate phrasing for one of the articles they rewrote out of the newspaper.
