I was in the car on Sunday and decided to try WCBS to see if they were using the horrible wah-wah device that WOR did – and they did not!
I was able to enjoy Howie without immediately getting a headache. This is great.
Wayne sounded pretty good.
Less good, but I don’t really care, are the player voiced station IDs. I heard a horrific one from Robinson Cano, and one by Noah Syndergaard that….well let’s just say I won’t be asking Thor do voice my audiobook. But if this is the biggest problem we have, this is great.
I’m not buying the MLB app as MLB chose to teach me to live without the Mets after years of years of LOUD COMMERCIALS.
Meanwhile, in cordcutting, the Locast app totally failed. I couldn’t get it to work today (any channel) on the roku nor the desktop. The folks on reddit say Locast has been begging for money every 15 minutes – so I may have to just connect the antenna. Or not watch. Or go to Red T’s – he always has the games. Its funny to me that I’ve lived long enough that it’s annoying when games are on regular TV.
