SLACKISH REACTION: There is extra nothing happening today. Sunday used to be a big newspaper day where you’d get the big columns, but that seems to be as dead as..well…newspapers. Even the AAIMBR guys have nothing, I guess none of their 75 writers want to work weekends.
I have to Actually Work (TM) this week so I guess I had better deep dive on eBay and Lids this morning so I have filler.
I’m (not so) secretly hoping Alonso doesn’t make the team so I can flip over the Told Ya card, plus I want to see everyone lose their minds.
In other news…why didn’t you guys tell me about the movie What We Do In The Shadows? I didn’t know it existed and it might be the greatest thing I have ever seen. I am looking forward to the TV version this week (which I how I discovered the film) and wow it is AMAZIN’.
Got some video games in – I’m on a Destiny 2 kick, and back into playing MLB The Show 14 (yes I said 14) as I continue my awesome career. BTW all the EA Sports games are on deep discount this weekend – you can scoop them all up for like $15 each.
This time next week there will be Actual Baseball to ignore!
