With the reports that WCBS is not adding the annoying WAHwah to the signal the way WOR did, I tuned into Howie foe the first time in a few summers today. Some quick thoughts…
Wayne is really good. Already the second best pbp guy in the organization. He seems to have good chemistry with Howie.
The jingle (the old WFAN one) gets really old really fast. Like three half innings and I never need to hear it again.
I don’t really care, but it’s silly to say “Mets radio network” if there is no network.
No WAHwah is life changing.
