As you know, I often criticize Gary Cohen for lazy calls where he autopilots “to the track, to the wall….” (aka Trackwalling) but here’s is an excellent example of when announcer SHOULD say to the wall. As we will see, that’s exactly where the ball is (as opposed to in the third deck) and it is unclear if the ball will go out…
Very good use of “to the wall” by Gary on that last play as the ball actually was to the wall and unclear if it would go out.
