The Mets’ new survey would like to know why the hell you don’t attend games

The old days

Seems the Mets are doing a survey.  I wasn’t invited but they are giving people who participate in the survey two field level tickets to a Monday-Thursday game (except Subway series).

The focal part from what I can tell is trying to figure out why the hell people aren’t going to games.  I find that interesting because remember three weeks ago when I mentioned that the May Mets Police download numbers were WAY off and that I thought it was an early warning sign that the fanbase had checked out on Wags’ version of Metsball?   I increasingly think I was right.

Anyway, among the questions….who is your favorite player, with Keon Broxton being a menu choice.

I don’t have the entire survey (yet) but fortunately the Mets Police Fans Network sent me some items.  Thanks MPFN!  Some of this was DM’d do I am not mentioning names, but thank you MPFN.

This one seems to be about why you don’t go. I am sad that BASEBALL IS BORING is not an option.  Or Baseball doesn’t have stars.  Or Baseball Games are now 3+ hours long.  Or you let my favorite player walk because Gary Cohen didn’t like him.   Or You Jerks Make Opening Day Tickets So Expensive.  Or my favorite I Had Opening Day Tickets But Even David Wright Day Was So Boring That My Teenager Chose To Go To School Instead Of Skip And Watch Baseball.

Here are some other reactions….

And in the end…
