Nice little win vs. the Cubs yesterday as my man Gary G scattered 8 hits in 7 and 2/3 with Ron Taylor finishing it off. He got one of those stupid “save” stats that they invented this season for that. Come on.
Baseball is really broken. Saves. This divisions nonsense. More and more games sailing past two and a half hours. Managers using three maybe four pitchers. Awful.
So before you get too excited about being two down in the loss column to the Cubs, take a look at the WINS column…they are up 8 and the Cubs are throwing Fergie Jenkins tomorrow.
