With Tom Seaver leading the Long Island Ducks to victory yesterday, it was time for The Duck Knight to return to MLB The Show. He would face a difficult opponent today in those cheating Astros. Booooo!
But The Real Deal looked pretty focused….no burritos last night it seems…and it was time to get going.
Matt had his best stuff, striking out five pretty early on, and we saw the confident walk off the mound like the golden days of being sort of OK with the Reds.
Someone needs to figure out how to edit jerseys and get this team a logo, but TDK was in fine form.
The Hand Of God (me) overruled the manager and took Matt out after six. There’s no reason to push our virtual luck here. Let’s get Video Matt a good game so his electrons can feel good until the next game.
