I have a pretty uneventful update for you.
The good news: the Astros apparently weren’t using garbage cans as they had little offense.
The bad news: Matt gave up one run in the 6th and then Melvin hooked him. In the 9th, the Astros walked off.
Since it’s a boring game, let’s check in with Gelbs. Steve?
Guys, I found this glove in my childhood closet, so I thought I’d wear it for this report. I probably should have grabbed a PS4 controller, but I didn’t. I grabbed a glove.
Steve, who is the signature on the glove?
This is a 1995 Rawlings Rico Brogna.
Wow that’s cool, a 1995 Rico Brogna. Steve, you know some glove snob is going to point out that that’s not a Rawlings or not the kind of glove Brogna would have worn.
Never ruin the bit for facts, Gare. Always go for the jokes. Back to you Gare.
You are so right Steve, always go with the bit. But who is Gare?
The Astros are now just 2.5 back of the 32-25 Ducks!
Meanwhile. the are Mets 18-37 and slightly less dumpster fire but sill 18.5 back of the division leading Nats.
