Matt is coming off a bad start, let’s see what he has today.
But let’s take a sidebar. The background of Crosley Field caught my eye, specifically the MONT on the scoreboard, as there are no Montreal Expos in my made up universe.
Crosley Field was the home of the Reds until June 1970, so kinda cool that the game uses a scoreboard grab from some time in 69 or 70. One of you detectives can figure out what day it was, I am too lazy.
Anyway, on to the game and OH NO….
Matt gives up yet another home run!
Despite being spotted three runs, Matty Baseball couldn’t keep the ball in the park and had another meltdown. This game is true to life!
5 innings, 9 hits, 4 runs. Not good.
The bats bailed him out again, Ducks win.
Matt is in danger of losing his playoff rotation spot. I’m getting bored doing these, so even The Hand Of God may not save him if the computer GM doesn’t keep him in the rotation.
