Matt Cerrone is trying to rile me up and it worked Matt!
David Wright’s favorite jersey is the black w/ white pants!
“I love the contrast,” he said. “We wore them when we clinched the NL East. I remember that day, those uniforms, taking the field to Welcome to the Jungle.”

David was a known MLB Uniform Rules violator with a complete disregard for the law!
David also played in the most games in club history of anyone to never win a World Championship. (*)
Now John Franco only “played” in 695 games as a Met, but he was on the team for 14 seasons – 14 * 162 is 2268. And you can even add in another 162 for the season Franco missed with injury, but if you are gonna do that you have to add in games for DW. Anyway, my DW comment is a little loaded as I think Franco oversaw more Not-Winning-Championships than anyone, a good topic for off-season filler but I don’t have time for that today.
So am I expect to take the word of a LOSER who violated uniform rules daily? Of course not.
Is this what you wanted Matt Cerrone? Did you want me to tear down David Wright? Is this what you wanted????? lol.
