Hey guess what this is?
It’s a chess set?
Um….which one is the horse? Which one is the castle? Why do all the pieces look the same Mets?
Look you chess nerds, I know they are called Knights and Rooks. GO WITH THE BIT
I giggled about this for ten minutes but turns out it’s not that kind of chess set even though it’s called CHESS SET.

I am still confused. Help me Wikipedia.
Kubb (pronounced [kɵbː] …..and I hope that phonetic really cleared this up for you…….in Swedish or [kubː] in Gutnish) is a lawn game where the objective is to knock over wooden blocks (kubbs) by throwing wooden batons (kastpinnar) at them. Kubb can be described as a combination of bowling and horseshoes. Play takes place on a small rectangular playing field, known as a “pitch”. “Kubbs” are placed at both ends of the pitch, and the “king”, a larger wooden block, is placed in the middle of the pitch. Some rules vary from country to country and from region to region, but the ultimate objective of the game is to knock over the “kubbs” on the opposing side of the pitch, and then to knock over the “king”, before the opponent does. Games can last from five minutes up to three days. The game can be played on a variety of surfaces such as grass, sand, concrete, snow, or even ice.
The alleged Viking origin of the game has led some players and kubb fans to nickname the game “Viking chess”.
You guys enjoy that. I’ll be home half-asleep in my outdoor recliner.
But now that we have learned all about Viking Chess, what’s chess about this?
THREE DAYS? Even baseball is like wow your games are too long.
Off-season filler? Off-season filler.
