Without there being any actual events at Citi Field, the gang at Mets Events had plenty of time to make this thorough and entertaining video in which the Mets wish us all some Happy Generic Winter Holidays without mentioning any specific holidays lest we offend someone or leave someone out, and Mr. Met is hanging up some Generic Winter Holiday Lights which is part of his family’s Generic Winter Holiday Celebration. At least they didn’t go the “Season’s Greetings” route.
It’s good to see that Mr. and Mrs. Met understand the importance of wearing masks even thought they clearly aren’t concerned about the environment given the amount of electricity they are using to light their home. Maybe get some solar powered lights next year?
