Major League Baseball announced that the season-opening series between the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets, originally scheduled from April 1-4 at Nationals Park, will be made up as follows: Saturday, June 19 – 1:05 p.m./6:05 p.m. (ET) split doubleheader at Nationals Park…Monday, June 28 – 7:05 p.m. (ET) at Nationals Park (Originally a mutual off-day for both Clubs)…Saturday, September 4 – 1:05 p.m./6:05 p.m. (ET) split doubleheader at Nationals Park…All doubleheaders will be seven innings.
I heard Howie and Wayne discussing the above – is baseball going to charge full price for a single 7 inning game?
That said, 7 inning games are the future and I like how more and more normalized they are getting.
