Last night, the New York Mets announced they acquired outfielder Billy McKinney from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for minor league left- handed pitcher Pedro Quintana…RHP Jordan Yamamoto was been transferred to the 60-Day IL to make room on the 40-man roster…McKinney has appeared in 40 games for the Brewers this season and is batting .207/.260/.359 with nine runs, three doubles, a triple, three home runs, six RBI and a stolen base…He has played 20 games in the outfield and nine games at first base this season…The 26-year-old was originally drafted in the first round (24th overall) by the Oakland Athletics in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft.
