TODAY there are the NFL games to talk about. TODAY there is the Tom Brady retirement story.
Later in the week…it will be too early to obsess over the Super Bowl and there are no major sports this weekend. Does nobody at MLB have a sports calendar?
Or wait three weeks because guess what – there won’t be any actual baseball to talk about, and maybe this would give people something.
BTW – they really broke The Show in 2021. The game plays great, but I have been playing on and off since it came out and my pitcher is still stuck in the minors because of the way they tweaked the grind (TLDR is they wan’t you to play Diamond Dynasty (that’s card collecting to build All Star Teams) and I want to play Road To The Show (career mode)). You can say I suck at video games but on previous iterations I always got called up year one and then played multiple seasons. Why would you make the game NOT FUN.
One of my things about video games is I want FUN. If the difficulty is too hard, I lower it. I don’t need to prove myself to you, I just want to turn my brain off for two hours. The Show managed to make baseball NOT FUN which actually isn’t that hard now that I say it out loud.
Also, Mike Trout isn’t even the biggest star on his own team. He’s third.
